WorkNest is a full-featured job application platform built to eliminate the friction in modern recruitment. The goal was to design a clean, intuitive experience that serves both job seekers, who need speed and simplicity, and employers, who need efficient tools for posting roles and managing candidates, all within a single cohesive product.
THE CHALLENGE
The core challenge was addressing the deeply fragmented job application experience: users were repeating data entry across multiple portals, losing track of submitted applications, and receiving little to no communication from employers. Entry-level and non-technical users were especially underserved by existing platforms, making accessibility a critical design constraint.
THE SOLUTION
I designed a single-profile system that allows users to apply to multiple jobs instantly without re-entering information. Smart filtering and skill-based job recommendations help users discover relevant opportunities faster. An application tracking dashboard gives job seekers full visibility into their progress, while a dedicated employer dashboard streamlines job posting and candidate management. The interface was built to be clean, responsive, and fully mobile-friendly, ensuring accessibility across all user types.
